Pengabdian ini bertujuan melakukan desain arsitektur jaringan, pemasangan jaringan dan penginstalan aplikasi Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK) di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 2 Palopo. Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 2 Palopo pada tahun 2017 melalui kebijakan pemerintah Kota Palopo dalam hal ini Dinas Pendidikan Kota Palopo, SMA Negeri 2 Palopo diberikan kewenangan sebagai salah satu sekolah yang akan menyelenggarakan UNBK 2017 yang pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya hanya melaksanakan ujian nasional berbasis tulisan, setelah memenuhi syarat administrasi yang dipersyaratkan oleh PUSPENDIK. Selama ini jaringan komputer pada SMA Negeri 2 Palopo hanya berada pada laboratorium komputer dengan jumlah perangkat komputer sebanyak 30 buah komputer, hal ini berarti masih belum memenuhi syarat untuk melakukan ujian nasional berbasis komputer. Melihat kondisi tersebut maka dilakukan pemasangan jaringan Local Area Network (LAN). Untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh SMA Negeri 2 Palopo tim melakukan beberapa tahapan, beberapa tahapan, tahap I: melakukan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, serta menganalisis masalah. Tahap II: desain jaringan UNBK pada SMA Negeri 2 Palopo, persetujuan pihak sekolah. Tahap III: pemasangan jaringan, pengujian koneksi jaringan UNBK. Tahap IV: penginstalan aplikasi client-server UNBK SMA Negeri 2 Palopo. Tahap V: pengontrolan dan pendampingan serta pelaporan. Hasil yang diharapkan dari adanya pengabdian ini yaitu dapat menjadi acuan pelaksanaan ujian nasional berbasis komputer kedepannya.
