Hilirisasi Rumput Laut Berbasis Teknologi Tepat Guna untuk Meningkatkan Produktivitas dan Keberdayaan Masyarakat Pesisir di Desa Bassiang Timur

Program pemberdayaan di Desa Bassiang Timur, Kecamatan Ponrang Selatan, Kabupaten Luwu, diarahkan pada penguatan rantai nilai rumput laut melalui teknologi tepat guna dan peningkatan kapasitas dua kelompok mitra. Kegiatan bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, kemampuan pengolahan, standardisasi kerja, dan tata kelola usaha. Pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dalam lima tahap, yaitu sosialisasi dan diskusi kelompok, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan monitoring, serta evaluasi. Sebanyak 41 anggota mitra terlibat, terdiri atas 20 anggota Kelompok Tani Mujur Bersama dan 21 anggota TP PKK Bassiang Timur. Evaluasi sementara menggunakan desain sebelum-sesudah melalui tes kompetensi, observasi pengoperasian teknologi, pengukuran waktu kerja, log produksi dan pengemasan, serta angket kepuasan. Hasil deskriptif menunjukkan skor komposit kompetensi meningkat dari 40,8 menjadi 86,8 dengan nilai gain ternormalisasi 0,78. Partisipasi kegiatan mencapai 94,9%. Pada mitra budidaya, waktu penarikan berkurang 79,2%, pemisahan 60,0%, dan pembersihan tali 56,0%. Pada mitra pengolahan, produksi tepung mencapai 62 kg per bulan, kapasitas pengemasan meningkat menjadi 54,5 pak per jam, dan kegagalan penyegelan turun menjadi 2,5%. Skor keberdayaan rata-rata meningkat dari 1,50 menjadi 3,98 dan kepuasan mitra mencapai 90,8%. Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa kombinasi teknologi, pelatihan, prosedur kerja, dan pendampingan memperkuat produktivitas serta keberdayaan masyarakat pesisir.
