Pendampingan Teknis Rehabilitasi Ruang Kelas dan Laboratorium IPA Berbasis Standar Keselamatan dan Kelayakan Bangunan di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo

Rehabilitasi ruang kelas dan laboratorium IPA harus direncanakan berdasarkan kondisi aktual bangunan, tingkat risiko, fungsi ruang, serta ketentuan keselamatan agar perbaikan tidak berhenti pada aspek estetika. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi pihak SMA Negeri 3 Palopo dalam mengidentifikasi kondisi ruang, menentukan prioritas penanganan, dan menyusun rekomendasi teknis rehabilitasi yang mengacu pada standar sarana prasarana pendidikan dan ketentuan bangunan gedung. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 29–31 Juli 2026 dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui koordinasi awal, pemeriksaan visual, pencatatan kerusakan, diskusi teknis, penyusunan matriks prioritas, serta evaluasi bersama pengelola sekolah. Aspek yang dikaji meliputi elemen struktur, arsitektur, atap dan plafon, lantai, bukaan, instalasi listrik, pencahayaan, ventilasi, sanitasi, aksesibilitas, dan keselamatan laboratorium. Pendampingan menghasilkan dokumen pemetaan kondisi, pengelompokan kebutuhan penanganan berdasarkan tingkat urgensi, rekomendasi teknis untuk ruang kelas dan laboratorium IPA, serta arahan pengendalian keselamatan selama pekerjaan rehabilitasi. Kegiatan juga memperkuat pemahaman sekolah mengenai perbedaan perbaikan ringan, rehabilitasi komponen, dan penanganan yang memerlukan pemeriksaan lanjutan oleh tenaga ahli. Dengan demikian, pendampingan teknis dapat mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih terukur, aman, dan sesuai fungsi bangunan pendidikan.
