Abstract

pendampingan gerakan literasi sekolah dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Pendampingan gerakan literasi sekolah memang penting dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan angka minat baca siswa melalui kegiatan GLS (Gerakan Literasi Sekolah). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah dalam pembelajaran. Sasaran pengabdian adalah siswa SMPN 3 Palopo. Pendampingan gerakan literasi sekolah dalam pembelajaran ini akan dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali. Pendampingan pada pertemuan pertama dilakukan penyuluhan tentang gerakan literasi sekolah yang efektif dengan alokasi waktu 2-3 sks, dan pendampingan ke-2 sampai ke-4 dilakukan monitoring pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah dalam pembelajaran di SMPN 3 Palopo dengan alokasi waktu 3-4 sks. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu pembiasaan 15 menit membaca sebelum jam pelajaran; menata perpustakaan; menciptakan lingkungan yang kaya teks dengan memasang slogan dan poster; dan menata kelas yang kaya teks dan nyaman untuk siswa belajar.
