Lomba Cerdas Cermat Peringatan 100 Tahun A.A. Navis yang diselenggarakan oleh Balai Bahasa Provinsi Bali pada 21–22 Oktober 2024 merupakan bentuk apresiasi terhadap kontribusi Ali Akbar Navis dalam pengembangan literasi dan kesadaran sosial melalui karya sastra. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ajang kompetisi intelektual, tetapi juga sebagai sarana edukatif untuk memperkuat literasi dan apresiasi generasi muda terhadap sastra Indonesia, khususnya karya-karya A.A. Navis yang sarat nilai humanis, kritik sosial, dan kebangsaan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penutupan. Rangkaian kompetisi yang mencakup babak eliminasi hingga final memberikan ruang bagi peserta untuk memperluas pengetahuan kebahasaan dan kesastraan serta mengenali konteks sosial budaya dalam karya A.A. Navis. Kegiatan ini juga sejalan dengan upaya penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, terutama dalam pengembangan kemampuan bernalar kritis dan berkebinekaan global, serta mendukung penguatan literasi nasional. Dengan demikian, kompetisi cerdas cermat dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif kegiatan yang edukatif, partisipatif, dan kontekstual dalam memperkuat literasi dan apresiasi sastra sekaligus mendukung pelestarian khazanah sastra Indonesia di tengah perkembangan global dan digital.
