Pendampingan Kewirausahan kepada Ibu-ibu PKK di Kelurahan Takkalala Kota Palopo

Peran Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) dalam berwirausaha sangat penting dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup suatu keluarga dan juga mendorong tumbuhnya ekonomi bangsa melalui usaha micro, kecil, dan menengah. Sebelum memulai suatu usaha maka sangat diperlukan pengetahuan atau pelatihan dalam berwirausaha. Hal ini diperlukan karena dalam berwirausaha seseorang harus mempunyai manajemen usaha yang cukup agar usaha yang direncanakan dapat berjalan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, pengabdi melakukan pendampingan dan pelatihan kewirausahaan kepada Ibu-Ibu PKK di Kelurahan Takkalala agar membuka wawasan mereka tentang pentingnya berwirausaha. Pelatihan kewirausahaan dilaksanakan dalam satu hari yang dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan pembuatan salah satu contoh produk yang bisa dijadikan bisnis usaha. Salah satu bisnis yang banyak diminati oleh IRT adalah bisnis kuliner khusunya makanan ringan atau cemilan. Cemilan biasanya dimakan sebelum atau sesudah makanan pokok. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini yang dikemas dalam pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan lava cake timbattu, maka membangkitkan semangat ibu-ibu dalam berwirausaha.
