Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui Buku Teks Pelajaran Bahasa dan Budaya Makassar

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka melalui buku teks pelajaran bahasa dan budaya Makassar. Kegiatan pengabdian dan desiminasi dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan model Participatory Action Research (PAR). Subjek kegiatan adalah guru mata pelajaran Bahasa dan Budaya Makassar di Kabupaten Gowa dan Kota Makassar. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan dan identifikasi kebutuhan, pelaksanaan workshop, pendampingan implementasi pembelajaran, evaluasi, serta refleksi kegiatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket evaluasi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa workshop mampu meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis budaya lokal. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa 66,7% peserta sangat setuju dan 37,0% setuju bahwa materi workshop relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran. Selain itu, 58,3% peserta sangat setuju dan 41,7% setuju bahwa materi mendukung pengembangan pembelajaran bahasa Makassar. Workshop juga membantu guru dalam memanfaatkan buku teks bahasa dan budaya Makassar sebagai media pembelajaran kontekstual dan penguatan literasi budaya. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap penguatan pembelajaran bahasa daerah, pelestarian budaya lokal, dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah.
