Peran Mahasiswa dalam Manajemen Produksi Film Dokudrama “Daeng Mangalle: Pangeran Makassar” sebagai Upaya Pelestarian Budaya Lokal

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan melestarikan budaya lokal Makassar melalui produksi film dokudrama “Daeng Mangalle” sekaligus memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa dalam manajemen produksi film berbasis proyek. Metode yang digunakan bersifat aplikatif dan kolaboratif dengan pendekatan Project-Based Learning yang mencakup tahap pra-produksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Pada tahap pra-produksi, mahasiswa melakukan riset historis, penyusunan naskah, perencanaan logistik, serta pembentukan kru; tahap produksi dilaksanakan melalui syuting intensif selama sembilan hari di lokasi historis seperti Maros, Benteng Somba Opu, dan Benteng Rotterdam; dan tahap pascaproduksi mencakup penyuntingan film, evaluasi peran mahasiswa, serta penyusunan dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa dokudrama efektif sebagai media pelestarian budaya karena mampu merekontekstualisasi nilai sejarah menjadi narasi visual yang mudah dipahami generasi muda. Keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam berbagai departemen, seperti Talent Coordinator, Clapper, Aktor, dan Wardrobe, menghasilkan koordinasi produksi yang teratur sekaligus memastikan representasi budaya Bugis-Makassar tetap autentik. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya menghasilkan karya audiovisual yang menghidupkan kembali figur Daeng Mangalle, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi edukatif melalui peningkatan keterampilan manajerial, kerja kolaboratif, literasi budaya, dan profesionalisme mahasiswa dalam industri kreatif. Dengan demikian, produksi film dokudrama terbukti menjadi strategi pengabdian yang efektif untuk menjaga warisan budaya lokal melalui pendekatan kreatif dan berbasis teknologi.
