Kegiatan pengabdian pemanfaatan biofertilizer dan biopestisida untuk menunjang pertanian berkelanjutan di Desa Pao Kecamatan Malangke Barat Kabupaten Luwu Utara bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada anggota Kelompok Tani tentang pembuatan biofertilizer dari sisa tanaman dan Trichoderma, pembuatan biopestisida dari ekstrak tanaman serta teknik aplikasinya pada pertanaman. Melalui program ini anggota Kelompok Tani diharapkan dapat mengetahui dan membuat biofertilizer dan biopestisida untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi. Pemanfaatan biofertilizer dan biopestisida dapat mengurangi penggunaan pupuk dan pestisida kimia sehingga aman bagi manusia dan lingkungan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan biofertilizer dan biopestisida. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan aplikasi biofertilizer dan biopestisida pada pertanaman padi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan memonitoring kemampuan anggota Kelompok Tani membuat biofertilizer dari sisa tanaman dan Trichoderma, biopestisida dari ekstrak tanaman serta pengaplikasiannya pada pertanaman padi. Penerapan biofertilizer dan biopestisida dapat mengurangi ketergantungan petani terhadap penggunaan pupuk dan pestisida kimia serta berpotensi untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman padi.
