Pengenalan Gaya Belajar dan Strategi Belajar Siswa di MTs DDI Al-Amin Makassar

Pengabdian ini dilakukan di MTs DDI Al-Amin. Permasalahan mitra yaitu siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin belum mengetahui karakteristik gaya belajar yang mereka miliki, sehingga siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin tidak optimal dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin tidak mengetahui macam-macam strategi yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar yang mereka miliki. Siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin tidak terampil dalam menentukan strategi belajar apa yang harus ditempuh yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar masing-masing siswa, agar siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Alternatif solusi masalah yaitu pemberian Tes Gaya Belajar, memberi pemahaman tentang karakteristik gaya belajar siswa, strategi belajar yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar masing-masing siswa dan memberikan latihan kepada siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin untuk mengenali gaya belajar masing-masing dan menentukan strategi apa yang paling cocok dan efektif sesuai dengan gaya belajar mereka. Adapun target luaran yang ingin dicapai yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin tentang gaya belajar, jenis gaya belajar yang dimiliki, macam-macam strategi belajar sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa. Metode yang akan dilakukan yaitu PKM dilakukan beberapa tahap yaitu pemberian pretest, pemberian tes gaya belajar, pemberian materi dan pemberian postest . Hasil kegiatan diperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan gaya belajar dan strategi belajar siswa MTs DDI Al-Amin, dari nilai rata-trata pretest sebesar 16, 67 meningkat menjadi 80,74 pada posttest. Dari 27 orang yang mengikuti kegiatan, sebanyak 11 orang siswa (40,74 %) memiliki gaya belajar visual, 8 orang siswa (29,63%) memiliki gaya belajar auditori, 7 orang siswa (25,93 %) memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik dan ada 1 orang siswa (3,70%) memiliki gaya belajar campuran auditori dan kinestetik
