Pengelolaan Limbah Nilam Menjadi Briket dan Branding Digital Berbasis Literasi Bahasa Upaya Meningkatkan Pendapatan Masyarakat di Kelurahan Aralle Kabupaten Mamasa

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan limbah nilam pasca penyulingan yang selama ini hanya ditumpuk, dibiarkan membusuk, atau dibakar sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan dan hilangnya potensi ekonomi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan keterampilan kepada masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan limbah nilam menjadi briket arang yang bernilai tambah melalui branding digital berbasis literasi bahasa, sekaligus meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan mengenai potensi pemanfaatan limbah nilam, pelatihan praktik pembuatan briket dengan menggunakan perekat alami, serta demonstrasi pembakaran sebagai uji coba hasil produksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Aralle, Kecamatan Aralle, Kabupaten Mamasa pada tanggal 21 Agustus 2025 dan diikuti oleh 23 peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh masyarakat mampu memahami dan mempraktikkan proses produksi briket, menghasilkan produk briket dasar yang layak digunakan, serta menyusun slogan promosi sederhana melalui media sosial. Manfaat yang diperoleh adalah meningkatnya keterampilan masyarakat dalam teknologi tepat guna, bertambahnya kesadaran terhadap nilai tambah limbah, dan pemahaman awal strategi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pemanfaatan limbah nilam dapat menjadi solusi energi alternatif sekaligus peluang wirausaha berbasis literasi bahasa.
