Pelatihan pembuatan kompos dari limbah pasca panen biji kakao dilaksanakan pada kelompok petani kakao di Kelurahan Larompong. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih anggota kelompok tani di kelurahan tersebut untuk meminimalkan limbah pasca panen buah kakao serta mengolahnya menjadi kompos. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota kelompok tani dengan meningkatkan nilai manfaat limbah pasca panen biji kakao sekaligus mengurangi potensi timbulnya hama dan penyakit tanaman kakao dari perantara limbah pasca panen biji kakao. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tahapan observasi awal, Focus Group Discussion, pembuatan kompos, dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Februari-Agustus 2025 dan diikuti oleh 13 anggota kelompok tani di kelurahan Larompong. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pembuatan kompos dari limbah pasca panen biji kakao berhasil untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat kompos. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga mampu berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilakukan, terdapat 11 orang (84.61%) peserta yang memahami materi singkat dan tahapan pembuatan kompos. Dari 11 orang ini, 6 orang (54.54%) diantaranya masih perlu diberikan penguatan lebih intensif terkait formulasi bahan kompos. menumbuhkan minat kelompok tani untuk terus memroduksi kompos dari limbah pasca panen biji kakao.
