Sosialisasi Hasil Pengukuran Geolistrik untuk Eksplorasi Air Tanah di Desa Kuranji Lombok Barat

Air tanah merupakan sumber daya vital yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk menunjang kehidupan, terutama di daerah pedesaan yang belum sepenuhnya terlayani jaringan air bersih. Desa Kuranji, Lombok Barat, merupakan wilayah pesisir yang menghadapi permasalahan keterbatasan air bersih akibat penggunaan sumur gali dangkal yang tidak memenuhi standar kelayakan konsumsi. Permasalahan ini disebabkan oleh minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat terkait kedalaman dan potensi air tanah yang layak. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian dari Program Studi D3 Teknik Pertambangan Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram melakukan kegiatan eksplorasi potensi air tanah dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 April–4 Mei 2025 dan diawali dengan survei lapangan serta observasi kondisi sumur warga. Selanjutnya dilakukan akuisisi data menggunakan alat resistivitymeter, diikuti dengan pengolahan dan pemodelan data satu dimensi untuk menginterpretasi keberadaan lapisan akuifer. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan adanya lapisan batupasir sebagai akuifer potensial yang terletak mulai dari kedalaman 12 meter. Temuan ini kemudian disosialisasikan kepada masyarakat melalui diskusi terbuka dan rekomendasi teknis mengenai kedalaman dan lokasi ideal pengeboran sumur. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan solusi teknis untuk memperoleh air bersih, tetapi juga meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pendekatan ilmiah dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air tanah secara berkelanjutan.
