Pemberdayaan Perempuan melalui Pendampingan Usaha Pembuatan Seserahan di Kelompok Bundo Kanduang Gonjong Limo Kota Dumai Riau

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini pertama, adalah untuk memberdayakan perempuan melalui pelatihan keterampilan pembuatan seserahan kepada kelompok ibu-ibu Bundo Kanduang Gonjong Limo di Kota Dumai. Kedua, pelatihan ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi perempuan, memanfaatkan waktu secara produktif, serta melestarikan budaya lokal. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup survei awal minat peserta, penyusunan materi dan modul pelatihan, pemberian materi teoritis, praktik langsung pembuatan seserahan, dan evaluasi hasil keterampilan peserta. Kegiatan berlangsung selama 12 hari dan diikuti oleh 28 peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta belum pernah membuat seserahan sebelumnya, namun 92,8% menyatakan tertarik menjadikannya sebagai ide usaha. Setelah pelatihan, peserta tidak hanya memahami teknik pembuatan seserahan, tetapi juga aspek estetika, makna budaya, serta potensi bisnis dari keterampilan tersebut. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas, motivasi, dan semangat kewirausahaan peserta. Pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa perempuan, khususnya ibu rumah tangga, dapat menjadi pelaku usaha kreatif jika diberikan ruang dan bimbingan yang tepat. Kegiatan ini membuktikan pentingnya pelibatan masyarakat dalam pelestarian budaya dan penguatan ekonomi keluarga
