Pelatihan Pembuatan Maskot Sebagai Penguatan Kreativitas Warga Desa Wisata Potorono

Terdapat masalah yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada pengelola yaitu ketiadaan souvenir berupa boneka buatan sendiri sebagai penguatan desa wisata Potorono Edupark (PEP), padahal warga memiliki kemampuan untuk menjahit. Keberadaan maskot berupa boneka dapat memberikan nilai tambah bagi lokasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menguatkan PEP yang memiliki keunggulan literasi visual tentang dinosaurus dan budaya agar menjadi ciri khas Kalurahan Potorono. Ada 3 sesi yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini, sesi 1 mengenai peningkatan pemahaman dasar mengenai maskot. Sesi 1 hasil pre-test sebesar 29,6% dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 43,6% pada post-test. Sesi 2 praktik membentuk pola boneka dinosaurus yang memperoleh data, yaitu saat pre-test terlihat kekurangan pengetahuan dan pengalaman terkait pembuatan dan desain maskot. Namun, setelah mendapatkan informasi, terjadi peningkatan di mana peserta menjadi tahu mengenai aspek-aspek yang terkait dengan proses pembuatan pola dan boneka dinosaurus. Sesi 3 praktik finishing pembuatan boneka dinosaurus, pada sesi ini diperoleh hasil pre-test dan post-test yang mengindikasikan bahwa sebelum pelatihan, Potorono Edupark memiliki keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan dan pengalaman terkait aspek-aspek kunci dalam pengembangan maskot. Meskipun demikian, terjadi perkembangan yang signifikan setelah pelatihan, yakni tindakan yang diambil telah memberikan dampak positif bagi Desa Wisata Potorono
