Pemberdayaan Perempuan melalui Literasi Komunikasi dan Budaya di Thailand

Abstrak
Meskipun Thailand memiliki kemajuan dalam beberapa bidang, perempuan seringkali masih menghadapi ketidaksetaraan dalam akses pendidikan, ekonomi, dan partisipasi sosial. Program pemberdayaan bertujuan untuk mengatasi hal ini. Literasi komunikasi dan budaya yang baik memungkinkan perempuan untuk mengakses informasi, berkomunikasi dengan efektif, dan memperjuangkan hak-hak mereka. Dengan keterampilan ini, perempuan dapat lebih aktif dalam komunitas dan pengambilan keputusan. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan ini berupa pelatihan terprogram serta pendampingan komunitas muslim perempuan yang berada di Thailand. Topik pelatihan adalah mengenai pemberdayaan literasi budaya melalui aspek kuliner serta pelatihan pemberdayaan perempuan di ruang digital. Selanjutnya pendampingan diberikan dalam pembuatan kuliner Indonesia serta aktualisasi diri di media sosial. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan dengan memberikan kuesioner dan telah dianalisis hasilnya. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan literasi komunikasi sejumlah 13.3% dan peningkatan literasi budaya sejumlah 9.6% pada komunitas muslim perempuan di Thailand. Dapat dilihat bahwa aspek literasi budaya memperoleh nilai peningkatan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan literasi komunikasi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa masih terdapat ruang perbaikan untuk mendorong literasi budaya komunitas muslim perempuan di Thailand.
