Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat khususnya kelompok tani terkait pemanfatatan tanaman jahe merah menjadi minuman jahe instan . Komponen yang terlibat pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani di Kecamatan Mungkajang Kota Palopo yang diikuti sebanyak 6 peserta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Mungkajang pada tanggal 14-15 Desember 2020 pukul 09.00 WITA sampai selesai. Tahap pelaksanaan ini dimulai dengan ceramah mengenai potensi tanaman jahe merah dalam mempertahankan dan meningkatkan sistem imun dalam menghadapi masa pandemic covid-19 serta Peserta mampu memahami pemanfaatan jahe merah dengan diolah menjadi minuman jahe instan yang praktis dikonsumsi. Selama kegiatan berlangsung dilakukan pula interaksi dengan mengajukan tanya jawab terhadap peserta maupun sebaliknya, antusias peserta selama kegiatan cukup tinggi.
