Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Pelatihan Aplikasi Manajemen Microsoft Office Excel dan Power Point Desa Pabarasseng Kecamatan Bua Kabupaten Luwu. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan praktek langsung dengan media, sebagai pembukaan materi yang akan dibawakan dan sebagai pengantar dalam materi. Materi yang telah diberikan selanjutnya akan dijalankan masing-masing peserta dengan didampingi oleh dosen dan mahasiswa. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dua hari penuh dan semua materi lebih diperjelas dalam modul yang dibagikan masing-masing peserta.Kebutuhan keahlian dalam menjalankan program dalam aplikasi komputer sebagai media teknologi modern tersebut menjadi nilai tambah seseorang dalam dunia perkuliahan, sekolah, maupun dunia kerja. Seperti salah satu contoh aplikasi yang sangat dibutuhkan yaitu microsoft Excel dan Power Point.Microsoft office Excel adalah program aplikasi pengolah angka yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi dan data angka. Di dalam dunia perkuliahan, dan dunia kerja khususnya bagi kantor desa sebagai sarana manajeman penggunaan Ms. Office Excel ini hampir di semua mata kuliah. Apalagi, bagi mahasiswa yang sudah menjejaki tahun atas, yaitu membuat skripsi atau tesis (bagi pasca sarjana).
