Literasi atau kemelekan adalah istilah umum yang merujuk kepada seperangkat kemampuan dan keterampilan individu dalam membaca, menulis, berbicara, menghitung, dan memecahkan masalah pada tingkat keahlian tertentu yang diperlukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga, literasi tidak bisa dilepaskan dari kemampuan berbahasa. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan memberikan materi dan bimbingan secara berkesinambungan kepada peserta workshop. Dari pelaksanaan ini dapat dilihat bahwa masih kurangnya minat berliterasi dikalangan masyarakat serta kurang mampunya Bunda Literasi dan Pegiat Literasi melaksanakan kegiatan yang inovatif. Kegiatan seperti ini diharapkan bisa secara rutin dilaksanakan dan kedepannya bisa berkolaborasi dengan instansi lainnya bukan hanya dengan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Wilayah Prov. Sul-sel.
